Terms & Refunds

These terms apply to your use of ardoralabs.com and the ArdORA application ("ArdORA", "we", "us"). By buying or using ArdORA, you agree to them.

1. Licenses

• Free: the full landscape editor, with no export, at no cost.
• Indie: a one-time payment for a lifetime license for one individual, including export. It may be active on one machine at a time: you can remove it from one machine and install it on another, but not use it on both at the same time.
• Studio: a one-time payment for a 1-year license, including the SDK source code, for a studio or team of fewer than 10 developers. It does not renew automatically. Larger teams, please contact us.

A license may not be shared, resold or used by people outside the scope described above. You may use ArdORA and what you create with it in your own projects, personal or commercial. A freelancer may use an Indie license for client work. The Studio SDK source code may be used inside your own engine and projects, but may not be redistributed as source code.

2. Restrictions

ArdORA is licensed, not sold. It is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and all rights not expressly granted to you remain with us. You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:

• decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the software, or otherwise attempt to extract its source code, algorithms or protected data (this does not apply to the Studio SDK source code we deliver to you);
• bypass, disable or tamper with license checks, export restrictions or any other protection mechanism;
• copy, modify, redistribute, rent, sublicense or resell the software or your license key, outside the scope described above.

These restrictions apply except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly allows them despite this clause. Breach may result in immediate termination of your license without refund, and we will pursue every available legal remedy, including injunctions and damages, under applicable law.

3. Payment

Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Your license key is sent by email after payment.

4. Refund policy

ArdORA Free lets you try the full editor before you buy, so all purchases are final and non-refundable. Please try the free version first to make sure ArdORA is right for you.

This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. If something is wrong with your purchase, such as a duplicate charge or a license key that does not work, contact us at support@ardoralabs.com and we will fix it.

5. Your account

Keep your login private. We may suspend or cancel a license used for fraud, abuse or in breach of these terms.

6. No warranty and liability

ArdORA is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision. These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
